Call for proposals UNYDP Italy 2025/2026
The Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI-UNA ITALY), in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), has launched the latest edition of the “United Nations Youth Delegate Programme – Italy” (hereafter referred to as the Programme). This initiative aims to select one young man and one young woman to serve as Italy’s UN Youth Delegates for the period from September 2025 to September 2026. Applications are open for UNYDP Italy 2025/2026.
Eligibility for UNYDP Italy
- Be between 20 and 27 years old at the time of application;
- Hold Italian citizenship and have full civil and political rights;
- Be enrolled in or have completed a university degree program;
- Be proficient in using social media and other digital communication tools;
- Demonstrate initiative and a passion for civic engagement, United Nations activities, and youth policies.

Required Skills of UNYDP Italy
- ability to speak in public clearly, fluently and effectively;
- ability to work in a team even with people from different cultural backgrounds;
- organizational, expressive and communication skills;
- digital skills in the use of communication tools.
Application
By and no later than Thursday 24 April 2025 at 18:00 , the candidate must complete the form in English available on the SIOI website at the following link , attaching or sending by email to application@sioi.org the required documents: CV in English ( mandatory ), language certificates (not mandatory), other experience certifications relevant to the requirements of the announcement (not mandatory).
The above documentation must also be completed by sending a video in English of a mandatory duration of 120 seconds , in which the candidate briefly presents his/her profile and candidacy and explains how to promote the commitment of young people to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
Applications , accepted only if correctly received within the deadline, will be accepted in chronological order of arrival; those arriving late or incomplete will not be taken into consideration .
